Southwest Airlines is known for its friendly and accommodating attitude, and this extends to their Southwest Pet Policy. They allow small pets in the cabin, as long as they are in a carrier that can fit under the seat in front of you. You are allowed to bring up to two pets per cabin, and there is no charge for doing so. However, you must notify the airline in advance if you plan to bring a pet, and there are a few other restrictions that you should be aware of. For example, pets are not allowed on flights that are longer than 12 hours, and they must be able to stay in their carrier for the entire flight. With a little planning, you can easily travel with your pet on Southwest Airlines.
