Use of Carpet Protection Self Adhesive Film During the Construction

How Do You Use Carpet Protection Film?

The carpet film comes in the roll package, therefore applying it on the floor protection is easy. Follow this step to apply the film to your carpet or the floor.

  1. Once you have open the box packaging, the next step is to find the beginning of the roll. There will be a sign with the sticker. Find it and open it in the direction printed on the sticker.
  2. Now unroll the few inches of the carpet protector film. Put the end on your carpet and adjust it according to the carpet’s direction. Open the roll gently and move the roll in the opposite direction while opening the film.
  3. While opening the film, press the film gently on the carpet, so it will stick to the carpet.
  4. When you are done with the covering on the floor or carpet, gently pull the carpet to stretch them nicely to remove the trapped air. Also, see if there are any wrinkles in the film which can be removed by pressing over the film.
  5. Once done cut the film from the end using the cessor or sharp knife.
  6. It is advisable to remove the carpet protection film within 45 days. Else, it may stick to the carpet or flooring due to excessive use.
