How to optimize your YouTube channel–

There is nothing uglier than having a neglected YouTube channel, this space serves as a showcase and is the container for your content, so you must have it tuned and beautiful. Below I share all the ways you have to optimize your channel.

1. Set up your channel

4. Trick to get external links from a video on YouTube

If you want to bring traffic from your YouTube video to your website or blog, you will love this trick.

The first thing you have to do is associate your YouTube channel with the main page of your brand. For example, my YouTube channel is associated with vilmanunez.com.

Then you will need to install the Pretty Link plugin in your WordPress to be able to create custom links under your domain. Let’s take the example that you want to add an external link to your Twitter in your videos, you could hide your profile www.twitter.com/xxx.com behind xxx.com/ir/twitter.

5. The keywords

Keywords for your videos are very important. Here are my recommendations:

Leave the generic keywords of your brand by default. In settings, you can change this.

For each new video, make a list of keywords.

Use the Keyword tool and SEO tool to get keyword suggestions.

Repeat the keyword in the headline, description, and tags.

Add your brand name or content category to all videos with []. You can put it at the end of the beginning of the headline.

6. Playlists

You must use playlists on your YouTube channel. These lists will help you organize the content of your channel and will be useful for your subscribers. Keep in mind that the lists index very well in the YouTube search engine and that they will help you to get more views in your videos.

7. Thumbnail of your videos

You can share a direct link on social networks so that your followers from other channels can easily subscribe.
